Virtual Unpaid Work Experience Opportunity – Sustainability Observer

About the Opportunity:

Processant offers a unique virtual unpaid work experience placement for a student passionate about sustainability and analytics. This is a strictly observational role designed to provide valuable insights into the practical application of sustainability principles within a start-up setting. This placement is not an employment relationship and is solely for the educational benefit of the student. The intern will not be performing any productive work that would typically be done by a paid employee.

Placement Details:

  • Duration: 3 weeks

  • Hours: 1-3 hours per week (flexible to accommodate your schedule)

  • Location: Remote and sometime in office

  • Start Date: Please inquire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Virtual Shadowing of Team: Observe and learn from our sustainability team virtually as they work on projects related to environmental impact reduction, social responsibility, and governance.

  • Attending Virtual Meetings: Sit in on virtual meetings with stakeholders to understand how sustainability decisions are made and implemented.

  • Researching Sustainability Topics: Conduct research on relevant topics to support the team's initiatives.

  • Documenting Observations: Maintain a journal to record your learnings and reflections throughout the placement.

  • Utilizing Partner Software: Gain ongoing access to our partner's software to continue your learning journey and develop practical skills.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated interest in sustainability or analytics through coursework, extracurricular activities, or volunteer work.

  • Strong research and analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Access to reliable internet and video conferencing capabilities.

Note:

This is an unpaid work experience placement designed for educational purposes only. The primary benefit of this arrangement is to the intern in terms of learning and development. There is no expectation of employment at the conclusion of the placement.
